Kanchanjangha – RISE (Assamese: কাঞ্চনজংঘা ), an Assamese movie directed by Zubeen Garg was announced early 2018. The muhurat shot of the movie was taken in Borpeta, Assam on the occasion of Fakuwa Utsav on 8th March 2018. The shooting of the movie started on 9th March, 2018 in Tezpur town, Assam, India. Kanchanjangha Movie Poster was released in Guwahati North East Book Fair on November, 18th, 2018 by Zubeen Garg on the occasion of his birthday. The music of the movie was released on 20th June 2019 at Shrdhanjali Kanon, Guwahati on the occasion of Kola Guru Diboxh ( Rabha Diboxh). Movie is made under the banner of Eye-Creations.

Plot: It is a story of Anirban, an ambitious rebellious young guy who fight against the system and the society. The story of Kanchanjngha will revolve around the APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) scam which is allegedly happening in Assam for many years and strict action was taken against the accused in 2017.
