The story revolves around two families who are neighbours and stays in harmony in a remote village of Assam. One family, Tora a 7 year old girl and her parents and other family consists of 2 brothers, Nobo and Debo and their bedridden mother. Tora loves nature a lot. She is lonely and hardly there is anyone to play with her. Finally Tora got a new friend to play with, a newly born calf to her neighbor’s cow.

One day a clash rises over a piece of plot. The harmony between the two families ended because of this property dispute. Tora’s parents did not allowed her to play with the calf anymore. Tora’s father logged a complain at the local police station against the two brothers and police arrested them. On the other hand Tora is concerned about the old lady, the cow and the calf. The old lady is now alone as police arrested her both the sons. Tora keep reminding about them to her parents, finally her mother goes to meet the grandmother and found that she was lying on the floor while trying to find food. They took care of her. Later on that night Tora’s father repented and next day morning he goes to the police station requested the officer in charge of the police station to release Nobo and Debo. Finally the two families unites again.

Mrigangkhi portrayed the role of Tora.
