Shooting of a a new Assamese movie Shrutaxwini (Assaemse: স্ৰোতস্বিনী) is going on in full swing under the direction of Bhaskar Kiran Bora. The movie is based on famous Assamese writer Sayad Abdul Malik’s novel “Jiya joori Ghaat” (জীয়া জুৰিৰ ঘাট). The movie is made under the banner of “Sambhawami Talkies”. Rajib Dutta is the producer. The muhurat shot was filmed on 12 January 2018 at Mayong, Morigau, Assam.

The second phase shooting of the movie is going on in and around Guwahati city, in Mayong ( Nogau ), Boko, Xhiboxhagor, Majuli etc.
Plot: It is a drama movie with elements of love, sadness and hope. The growing issue of unemployment is also shown in the movie.
In past Bhaskar Kiran Bora gave us an Assamese movie “31st June” (Assamese: ৩১ জুন) in 1994.
